Hi Everybody! It's that time of year again, so I need to apologize in advance for taking a little longer to reply to e-mails. I always want to answer the same day, but lately it has been taking at least a day.
We answer all e-mails, so if you don't get a reply in 2 days, your spam blocker might be trapping our replies.

*In general new orders are taking a week to fabricate and ship, and this may increase during mid summer!

NEW Kia Project Released!

Hi All!

Over the Holiday I had help from a few Great guys from the OptimaForums. There have been alot of details that needed working out, but I think it's all good to go!
There are videos and photos that need to be sorted out, so I will just list the basics that are known, and I will make adjustments when needed.
One note, about the finish, it is high temp Black enamel. There may have been a note posted that it is powdercoated. Not a biggie, but I didn't want anyone to think I am claiming a powdercoated finish.

*Current information says that the tapped holes are for M6mm x 16 screws, which I will include, but I will watch out for anybody that reports different threaded holes.

Sight Tube Design Released For 2012

NEW for 2012, the official Sight Tube Design has been updated to what I think is a much sleeker and attractive design. The elbows have been made more compact and less obtrusive which means the viewing length has been increased!
This mod can now be added to the Stage 1, 2, and 3 sizes.
Currently this mod adds $5 to the Base Cost of the tanks.

New Micro Series In Production !!!

Introducing a NEW Compact size for special applications! Smaller engines on motorcycles and karts also have blow-by issues. Here is a new compact version with the same successful filtering system of the standard Saikou Michi design. NPT bungs are standard for all connections to make customization easier with standard off-the-shelf barbs and connectors.
Price is also competitive. Tentatively priced at $50 for the closed-loop Micro OCC, and $60 for the vent to atmosphere Micro Breather with filter included.

Hey! 2011 looks like a RECORD year! This Peak Season has more orders than ever! Starting May 7, I will start a "Hold To Invoice" policy until it calms down a little. This way, I can take your order, but not have you pay until I am closer to fabricating your tank. This is similar to the "Reservation" method I used in 2010.
The plan is also to get more Deka ETX14 mini battery trays made, and also offer a Odyssey PC680 version for the EVO 8 & 9.

Stage 3 OCCs With Thin Wall Technology

With the success of the Stage 1 fabrication using Thin Wall Technology, it is now officially announced that the Stage 3 OCCs will be fabricated with the same technique.
Special tooling is needed for this type of fabrication so it took a little longer for the Stage 3s to catch up.
Saikou Michi Co. continues the pursuit of continuous improvement!

New Tooling!!! Woohooo!

Oh yeah! We just tested some new tooling and it works great! Our welded hose nipples have always been more art than science, but now we can take out the guess work and produce a really nice factory grade beaded hose nipple consistently!
The important thing is that this requires less time to produce a nice part and maybe we can reduce our backlog a little. (^.^);;;;;

We will start using this tooling for production immediately!

Thin Wall Technology Announced !!!

R&D has produced positive results!

Since late November 2008, our Stage 1 type OCCs have been using a new fabrication technique to produce a lighter and better catch tank. Previously, in order to tap a thread into our Stage 1 tanks, we had to use a thick walled cap, but now, instead we can use a thinner gauge material to reduce the weight, and still produce a quality thread that provides even more thread engagement than before. What does this mean? Lighter construction and higher quality !!!
Stage 1 OCCs are now made from 0.06" thk cylinders, 0.090" thk caps, and the universal mount is 0.125" thk aluminum.
This is Thin Wall Technology !!!

Winter is over and that means everybody is focusing on their cars! This is normal every year, but this year is even busier! We will try to keep pace with the demand, but since this February already passed last March in backlog, it is for sure going delay orders a little bit more this year. Sorry! That is the "good news, bad news"

Cool Design/Build Project

Check this out! This is one of the more unique custom OCCs that I have made per custom request! This is a Dual OCC with 3/4" nipples on one side and 1/2" nipples on the other side. This will be a double breather can setup, so 2 breathers will be attach to the outlets. Cool!

Woot Woot! The October 2008 Import Tuner issue provides actual stats that prove oil catch cans actually increase horsepower! Not that it was in question, but documented tests are expensive to perform and hard to come by.
