I have a 1970 MGB and am converti...Dear Mr. Saikou,<br />I have a 1970 MGB and am converting the two separate tappet side covers to a one-piece side cover. The original two-piece system has a vent from the front cover that is connected to the two carburetor float bowls. The old front cover's vent system has an old technology system that consists of dome sort of metal mesh that is supposed to "catch" the oil mist and allow it to liquify and drain back to the engine rather than going to the carbs and intake. Another MGB owner I have communicated with is installing a one-piece side cover and one of your catch cans.
